The fall of Roe v. Wade has left millions unable to access the care they need to control their own bodies and pregnancy decisions. But the fight isn’t over yet!

Residents of Arizona, Arkansas and Nebraska are collecting signatures to ensure abortion is on the ballot in November. Colorado, Florida and Maryland already have abortion on their ballots.

We need YOU to get involved and protect the right to abortion in your state…and across the country!

States Collecting Signatures to ensure Abortion is on the 2024 Ballot

Amnesty International USA is working alongside the Arizona for Abortion Access Coalitionopens in a new tab to protect the right to abortion in the Arizona constitution. Approximately 384,000 valid signatures are needed by July 3, 2024 to appear on the ballot.

Help us ensure abortion is on the ballot in November by signing the petition and participating in signature collection training. If you live in Arizona or not, you can help!

Sign the Arkansas Abortion Amendment. Approximately 90,704 valid signatures are needed by July 5, 2024, to appear on the ballot.

Sign the Nebraska Right to Abortion Initiative in person. Approximately 124,465 valid signatures are needed by July 5, 2024, to appear on the ballot.

Impact of Roe v. Wade being overturned

Following the Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe v. Wade in 2022, abortion rights are no longer federally protected in the U.S. Instead, states now determine abortion rights.

21 states have implemented either total or near-total abortion bans.

Abortion is a human right, and criminalizing abortion violates the rights of women, girls, and others who can become pregnant.
