Guantanamo and Illegal Detention

The continued operation of the US detention camp at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, is a prime example of the USA’s double standard on human rights.

The Security with Human Rights Campaign is working to:

  • Urge the U.S. government to close Guantanamo without delay
  • Call for the release of, or fair trials for all individuals at Guantanamo in Article III courts
  • Prevent Congress from passing legislation that restricts Guantanamo detainee transfers
  • Demand accountability for those responsible for subjecting detainees to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment

Together, we can stop the U.S. government from keeping Guantanamo open forever.
