As a human rights advocate, Kirsten has integrated communications work with advocacy strategies to educate target audiences and create change. She’s worked on various social and racial justice campaigns, including to advance rights and freedoms for LGBTQ+ people, end poverty and hunger, reform the criminal justice system, and uphold justice for immigrants and Indigenous people. She has previously worked with various organizations including the Southern Poverty Law Center, ACLU of Montana, Global Project Against Hate and Extremism, and Equality Virginia. She holds a Master’s in International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Vermont. Kirsten lives in Vermont and is outside snowboarding, spending time with friends, and playing with her family in her free time.
